-school: property, rules, playground, gym, cafeteria

-listen to others

-raise hand quietly while waiting to speak

-participate in class

  be RESPONSIBLE

-come to school prepared

-turn in assignments on time

-write assignments in planner

-keep desk, folders, and cubby organized

  be SWAMP STARS

-do your best work

-help others

        -don’t be afraid to ask questions!

     

Consequences for Inappropriate Behavior

First Strike

-Direct reminder to student

-either verbal or nonverbal

Second Strike

-Direct but private verbal reminder

-Discuss expected behavior and future consequences

Third Strike

-Take a Break

-Private student-teacher conference

Fourth Strike

-Loss of privileges:  recess, desk moved, etc.

-Phone call home and/or student-parent-teacher meeting

Fifth Strike

-Loss of privileges

-Referral to Counselor, or Principal
