Congratulations to Singing River Academy music teacher Laura Hubbard who has been awarded the title of Veterans of Foreign Wars District I Elementary Teacher of the Year! She will now compete for the title of Mississippi’s VFW Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Hubbard initially won the Teacher of the Year for VFW Post 3373 in Pascagoula before advancing to the district level competition. At each level, Mrs. Hubbard was presented with an award and monetary gift. Congratulations Mrs. Hubbard!
